Art of Film I

I look forward to viewing the fun movies that we will be watching in class. Hopefully it will be a year filled with fun things to do. i also look forward to watching movies outside of class and writing about it. I like the discussions that we have in class about movie clips and why certain shot were used and what the message being conveyed is. I will certainly look at movies differently after taking this class because it will be able to identify with the techniques and other things that i wouldn't normally. I am excited, now that we will start watching Citizen Kane.
